تقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” بإعادة تدوير طبقات الأسفلت التي وصلت إلى نهاية عمرها التشغيلي، وإعادة استخدامها في مشاريع الطرق بالهيئة.
تسمح تلك المبادرات باعادة استخدام الموارد القيّمة ويقلّل من معدلات إستيراد كل من الحصى والبيتومين من الخارج، وتقليل تكلفة المشروعات.
تجري الاختبارات الأولى من قبل “أشغال” في كل من منطقة أزغوى والوكرة.
تمثل هذه المبادرة باكورة استخدام الأسفلت المعاد تدويره في الدوحة، مع تطلع “أشغال” إلى استخدام الخلطات الإسفلتية المعادة تدويرها بنسبة تصل إلى 30%.
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ works on recycling asphalt pavement materials that have reached the end of their service life, to be reused in road projects.
These kinds of initiative aims to reuse valuable resources and reduce the level importation of both aggregates and bitumen, in addition to reducing the cost of projects.
The first trials heve been carried out by Ashghal in both in Isghawa and Al Wakrah areas.
This work represents the first significant use of recycled asphalt pavement in Doha, with Ashghal’s aim to use recycled asphalt mixtures up to 30%.
